Duff C. Hearon has headed Ashland Group since 1985. He acquired sole ownership of Ashland in 1997. His expertise in the field of commercial property management has been gained through his over 25 years as owner and manager of commercial real estate in Arizona, Colorado and California. Mr. Hearon has not only invested in but has also developed several Arizona commercial real estate projects. He also has extensive experience in reducing your largest operating expenses of owning commercial real estate, property taxes. This varied background and experience gives him a unique understanding of what it takes to maximize the return from

a real estate project. His knowledge of your property needs is from an owner's perspective.

On a personal note, Mr. Hearon is a Tucson native. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Mr. Hearon practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in the Chicago office of a Big Four accounting firm. Afterwards, he returned to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona Law School, from which he graduated with the highest distinction. Thereafter, he practiced tax and real estate law in Tucson until 1985. It is at that time when he established Ashland.

Mr. Hearon is a member of the State and national bar associations, and has been a speaker at numerous professional functions, including State of Arizona Bar Association seminars on real estate and property taxes.

Mr. Hearon is also deeply involved in the State and local community including the Greater Tucson Economic Council, the Board of Directors of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, the Tucson Conquistadores and the United Way of Greater Tucson. He has been honored as a selectee for Who's Who of Arizona as well as in Who's Who in Up and Coming Americans.
